Where the GOTRAX G5 may be ridden

Most European countries cap electric scooters at 20 to 25 km/h on public roads; the GOTRAX G5's top speed of 25 mph (40 km/h) is above that, so it may be ridden at full speed only on private land there. In the United Kingdom privately owned e-scooters may not yet be ridden on public roads, and Germany requires a type-approved model with an insurance plate.

UL 2272 is the US safety standard for the electrical system of personal e-mobility devices such as electric scooters.
